In summary
- Delivered plays are non-refundable; you pay for delivery, evidenced by Proof of Play.
- Undelivered plays are made right: by default we don't charge, or we add Credits + up to 10% bonus; you can ask for cash instead.
- Guaranteed (PG) under-delivery is fixed by a make-good or a pro-rata credit/refund.
- Unused wallet funds can be refunded on request, less actual processing fees.
- Credits expire after 12 months (except where law prohibits expiry).
- Consumers keep all statutory refund/withdrawal rights, which always prevail (Sections 7–8).
Core Principle: Delivered Means Non-refundable
The Platform is prepaid and you pay for delivery. Once a Play has been delivered (as evidenced by Proof of Play) or deemed delivered under the Terms (for example, where your own late, missing, or non-compliant Content prevented delivery, or where Plays were committed before a pause took effect), the corresponding amount is fully earned and non-refundable, and once a Play has won an auction and/or been committed to a Supplier, it cannot be cancelled.
Undelivered Plays
Where Plays are not delivered, for example, due to a Screen outage, a Platform failure, or unspent non-guaranteed Budget, our default remedy is non-charge (the undelivered amount is simply not deducted from your wallet). Where an amount has already been charged for undelivered Plays, our default remedy is Credits for the value of the missed Plays plus a goodwill bonus of up to 10% of the missed amount. You may instead request a cash refund of the value of the missed Plays, and we will provide it. Consumers' statutory refund rights (Section 7) prevail over this default.
Programmatic Guaranteed (PG) Under-delivery
For Programmatic Guaranteed Orders, verified under-delivery is remedied solely through the make-good or credit process in the Terms (additional or extended delivery of reasonably comparable value, or, where comparable make-good inventory is unavailable, a pro-rata credit or refund for the undelivered, paid portion). Make-goods must be requested in writing within 15 days after the flight ends.
Unused Prepaid Funds
Unused wallet funds that have not yet been applied to a Campaign may be refunded on written request to billing@seeblindspot.com, subject to:
- deduction of actual, non-recoverable third-party payment-processing fees that Blindspot incurred on the original transaction (limited to those actual charges and itemized on reasonable request);
- deduction of any amounts you owe us (including amounts under the chargeback provisions of the Terms);
- identity and ownership verification (Credits are deemed owned by the owner of the payment method used to purchase them); and
- our anti-fraud and sanctions checks.
We aim to process approved refunds within 10 business days after verification, except where a payment processor, bank, sanctions review, or fraud review reasonably requires more time, in which case we will notify you of the delay. Refunds are issued to the original payment method where practicable.
Credits
- Purchased funds vs. promotional Credits. "Purchased funds" are amounts you paid for and are refundable as set out in this Policy. "Promotional/complimentary Credits" are amounts we grant at no cost (e.g., bonuses or promotions); these are not redeemable for cash, not refundable, and may carry shorter or different expiry and conditions stated when granted. Where a balance contains both, promotional Credits are applied first unless law requires otherwise.
- Ownership. Purchased funds and Credits are deemed the property of the owner of the payment method used to purchase them and are not transferable between separate balances except with our written agreement.
- Currency. Credits are recorded in USD at the locked-in value on the purchase date; display in another currency is indicative only.
- Expiry. Credits expire 12 months after they are added to your wallet, unless a longer period is required by law. Purchased funds and Credits will not expire to the extent that expiry is prohibited by applicable gift-card, prepaid-access, stored-value, unclaimed-property, or consumer-protection law. Where expiry is permitted, the period is disclosed at purchase, and we will send at least one advance reminder before a material balance expires.
- Dormancy. Credits in a dormant or archived account remain subject to expiry and to the Terms.
Chargebacks
This Policy operates alongside the chargeback provisions of the Terms and the Support & Disputes Policy. Before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute, you must contact us first at billing@seeblindspot.com and allow us 10 business days to investigate. Initiating a chargeback for delivered or deemed-delivered services, without following that process, is a material breach of the Terms and may result in the consequences described there (including the disputed amount and our costs becoming immediately due as a debt, account suspension, and a wire-prepayment requirement).
Non-excludable Rights
Nothing in this Policy limits any mandatory refund, cancellation, withdrawal, chargeback, or other statutory right that cannot lawfully be limited under consumer-protection or other law that applies to you.
Consumer Withdrawal Right (Eu/eea and UK)
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or UK, you generally have the right to withdraw from a distance contract for services within 14 days without giving a reason. Because campaigns are typically performed immediately, when you fund a wallet or start a Campaign you may be asked to expressly request that performance begin during the withdrawal period and to acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service is fully performed. Where performance has begun at your request but is not complete when you withdraw, you pay for the proportion supplied up to that point. For services fully performed (Plays delivered), the right of withdrawal is lost. We will provide the model withdrawal information and form as required by law.
